The
Pont Neuf
The Pont Neuf is the oldest and most famous of all Paris'bridges.
But beween 1178 and 1604, it was once a popular spot in the city, where
fore-gathered jugglers, street hawkers, and songwriters (Tabarin, the
most famous wag of the place, has since been immortalised). See Equestrian
statue of Henri IV.
