On the Place du Trocadéro, the old Trocadéro has been replaced by the Palais de Chaillot. The museums, especially the Musee de l'Homme, the Musée of the French Monuments, the Musée de la Marine, the Theatre and the Aquarium should be seen.

A superb vista opens on the Champ de Mars and the Eiffel Tower, on the side of the Seine. The gardens reach as far as the river bank.
