The
Saint Julien Le Pauvre church.
The picturesque little church of Saint-Julien-le-Pauvre was built between
1165 and 1220 by the monks of the Abbaye de Longpont, who had just founded
a new Priory. The choir and the capitals are interesting.
From the very old church square one of the famous views of old Paris
on Rue Galande and Rue Séverin, has been painted by artists of
all times. The old church garden is now the Square Viviani, from which
one has an unforgettable view of Notre-Dame.
